Békéscsaba, Hungary. Swietelsky BÉKÉSCSABA is the most successful Hungarian women’s Volleyball team of the last ten years. Traditionally, the club has supported and joined all kind of charity events in order to set a good example for others to follow.
This time, the five-time Hungarian champions and two-time MEVZA Cup winners joined the World Gynaecologic Oncology Awareness Day held last week where the players paid attention to raise awareness especially about gynaecological cancer symptoms and HPV prevention.
Moreover, Swietelsky BÉKÉSCSABA joined the Car-Free Day as well, which has become some sort of a tradition for the club. On this day, players and members of the coaching staff took part in an initiative to raise environmental consciousness and support the use of bikes and the importance of walking for a healthy lifestyle. It is important to stress that the players use their bikes not only on this special day, but in their everyday lives as well.
