Salzburg, Austria. On Saturday, the Ordinary General Assembly of the Austrian Volleyball Association (ÖVV) took place in Salzburg, with President Gernot Leitner unanimously re-elected at the helm of the organisation for another two years.
The post of Vice President in charge of Beach Volleyball remains vacant after Elisabeth Klopf, who is expecting her first child, resigned. Eva Kheil is no longer a member of the ÖVV Board after 19 years. Markus Petsche is the new Vice President responsible for Administration and Finance. Christian Maierhofer succeeds Christian Keinrath as Vice President representing the State Associations. Frederick Laure (Vice President responsible for the National Leagues) and Maximilian Thaller (Vice President as Players’ Representative) were confirmed in office.
