Vienna, Austria. The coronavirus-related break for Austria’s Beach Volleyball stars ended in early June. As previously announced (click here), the HYPO NOE Beach Volleyball Champions Cup will take place at traditional locations in Graz, Klagenfurt, Salzburg and Vienna until mid-July. The best twelve red-white-red women’s and men’s teams will face each other at this exclusive invitational event. There will be a livestream available for all games, with the Final Four tournament broadcast live on ORF Sport +. Access for a limited number of spectators should be possible from the intermediate round.
HYPO NOE is not only the title sponsor of the Beach Volleyball Champions Cup, but also supports the Austrian top duos Katharina Schützenhöfer/Lena Plesiutschnig, Clemens Doppler/Alexander Horst, Martin Ermacora/Moritz Pristauz and Robin Seidl/Philipp Waller.
“We are very pleased that our top teams with HYPO NOE have a stable and long-term-oriented sponsor at their side who is committed to supporting our athletes even in times of crisis. It shows the quality of the partnership if a sponsor does not restrict their budgets even in difficult times – this is extremely important, especially when it comes to promoting young talent. I am therefore all the more pleased that HYPO NOE continues to support the Junior Beach Series in Lower Austria so strongly,” explains Gernot Leitner, President of the Austrian Volleyball Federation.
