MOK Mursa Osijek secured a 3-0 victory over OK i-Vent Maribor in their second MEVZA match of this week, following a composed and efficient performance.
After trailing 1-4 early in the opening set, the Maribor side quickly regrouped and moved into a 10-7 lead, forcing the visitors from Osijek to call a timeout. A closely contested battle followed, with neither team able to pull away. Mursa Osijek had seven set points, but i-Vent Maribor refused to back down. Eventually, the visitors converted their eighth set point, as Andric sealed the set 31-29.

Winning the opening set fueled Osijek’s momentum. The visitors entered the second set with greater focus, quickly building an 11-8 lead, which forced Maribor head coach Sebastijan Škorc to use both of his timeouts. With a shuffled lineup, the home side struggled to break Osijek’s rhythm, and the second set also went to the visitors, 25-21.
The third set once again produced a tight contest and a tense finish. Despite trailing 20-23, Mursa Osijek went on a decisive 5-0 run to turn the set around, winning 25-23 and sealing a straight-sets victory.
