The second day of the MEVZA Beach Volleyball Club Championship in Bratislava saw intense quarter-final matchups in both the men’s and women’s categories. Teams fought fiercely for a place in the semi-finals, setting the stage for an exciting conclusion to the tournament tomorrow, which will feature semi-finals, third-place matches, and the grand final.

Hungarian team Beach Sport (HUN2) delivered a dominant performance against Bergstrand Beachvolleyball 2 (AUT2), winning both matches in straight sets with scores of 21-12, 21-14 in the first match and 21-12, 21-6 in the second.
In a dramatic encounter, BVC Ludus Ljubljana (SLO) overcame BVC Bratislava 2 (SVK2). The Slovenian team convincingly won the first match 21-7, 21-6, but the Slovakian side fought back in the second match with a 21-14, 21-13 victory. However, the golden set proved decisive, with Ludus Ljubljana securing a 21-16 win.
EDRA (HUN1) demonstrated their strength against Beach Service club z.s. (CZE), securing two straightforward victories with scores of 21-9, 21-11 and 21-7, 21-6.

Meanwhile, BVC Bratislava 1 (SVK1) engaged in a hard-fought battle against Bergstrand Beachvolleyball 1 (AUT1). After winning the first match 21-16, 14-21, 15-10, they secured their place in the semi-finals with another win of 21-17, 21-17 in the second match.
Beachclub Strahov (CZE1) faced a tough challenge against Aloha Beachvolleyball Club Wörthersee (AUT1). The Czech team lost the first match 21-17, 20-22, 11-15 but bounced back in the second match with a hard-fought 13-21, 21-19, 15-12 win. The golden set proved decisive, with Beachclub Strahov edging out their Austrian opponents 21-19.
BVC Ludus Ljubljana (SLO) put on a strong performance against Beach Union OÖ (AUT2), winning the first match 21-14, 21-19. Although their opponents put up a fight in the second match, the Slovenians clinched a 21-10, 21-23, 15-9 victory to advance.

Beach Service club z.s. A (CZE4) proved too strong for BVC Bratislava 2 (SVK2), winning both matches in straight sets with scores of 21-15, 21-13 and 21-19, 21-16.
A thrilling encounter unfolded between SRSE Budapest (HUN1) and BVC Bratislava 1 (SVK1). The Hungarian team took the first match 21-15, 23-25, 15-9, but Bratislava responded with a 16-21, 20-22 victory in the second match to force a decisive golden set. In the end, BVC Bratislava 1 triumphed to secure their place in the semi-finals.
