The regular season of the MEVZA League will finish with the last three fixtures between February 18 and 24. On Thursday, defending champions ACH Volley LJUBLJANA (SLO) will be hosting SK Zadruga AICH/DOB (AUT).
The ‘Orange Dragons’ still have the chance to clinch the top spot, as they have only contested nine out of their twelve matches so far. They are sitting in third place in the current standing on a 7-2 win-loss record, while OK Calcit KAMNIK (SLO) lead the way on 25 points, resulting from nine wins and three losses.
Alongside titleholders ACH Volley LJUBLJANA and OK Calcit KAMNIK (SLO), second-placed OK Merkur MARIBOR (SLO) as well as hosts and last year’s bronze medallists Union Raiffeisen WALDVIERTEL (AUT) have qualified for the Final Four tournament. The grand finale will take place on February 27-28 at the Zwettl sports hall for the second consecutive year.
