In front of more than 1,400 enthusiastic fans, in the women’s final, Calcit Volley showcased their dominance in this season, overpowering OTP banka Branik in three sets to secure their fifth Slovenian Cup title. Led by Croatian Mika Grbavica, who was named MVP, and young Slovenian outside hitters Masa Pucelj and Asja Sen, the team from Kamnik controlled the pace of the game from start to finish, ultimately celebrating a well-earned victory.
“We knew this would be a tough match, especially considering the bad experiences from previous years, which made us even more determined to win the cup this time. We put all our quality, energy, and effort into this match, and I believe that because we truly gave it our all, we came out victorious”, said Masa Pucelj after the match.

In the men’s competition, ACH Ljubljana and OK Maribor met in the final. ACH Ljubljana volleyball players won their 15th Slovenian Cup title with a 3-0 win.
Luka Marovt was named the best player. From the winning team, Jani Kovacic said: “We are extremely happy to claim our first trophy of the season. We know how unpredictable cup competitions can be, as they are often full of surprises. Maribor put up a strong fight in the first two sets, but in the key moments, we came together as a team and proved that we deserve the title.”
