Zagreb/Ivanec, Croatia. Even though they still have to deal with the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, the Croatian Volleyball Association and their network of staff working at the grassroots are still pushing hard to help with the implementation of the CEV School Project in their country, thus inspiring more and more youngsters to play the game.
The youngest girls from the Ivan Kukuljevic Sakcinski Elementary School in Ivanec train regularly every day, and on Wednesdays, they join 2×2, 3×3 and 4×4 competitions. The summer trainings will continue during July and August under the guidance of Ivan Hrg and Josip Polancec Štimec, who work at the Women’s Volleyball Club Ivanec. The planned activities involve teachers from primary schools from Klenovnik and Maruševac involved in the project as well.

The young girls enjoy the summer regime and they stress that with their hard work they will beat even the novel virus and will be able to continue to share the fun and joy that come with playing Volleyball.
