MEVZA (Middle European Volleyball Zonal Association) Executive Committee has announced the competition schedule for the MEVZA beach volleyball calendar 2023. The decision was made during the 7th meeting of the committee, which was held electronically via e-mail voting. The decision, numbered 07/2023/02, was signed by the MEVZA President Valentina Bifflin in Kamnik on March 15, 2023.
According to the decision, the MEVZA Beach Volleyball Competitions’ Calendar for 2023 will include six events, starting with U16/U18 Men’s and Women’s competitions in Praha (Czech Republic) from June 23 to 25. The second event in the calendar will also be U16/U18 Men’s and Women’s competitions, which will be held in Portoroz (Slovenia) from July 5 to 7. The third event will take place in Hartberg (Austria) from July 20 to 23, and will also be for U16/U18 Men’s and Women’s competitions.
The fourth event on the calendar will be Senior Men’s and Women’s competitions, the date and place of which are yet to be determined. The fifth event will be held in Bratislava (Slovakia), also for Senior Men’s and Women’s competitions, with the date yet to be determined. The final event on the calendar will be the Senior Men’s and Women’s competitions, which will be held in Insbruck (Austria) from September 22 to 24.
The decision has been made in accordance with article 4.2 of the MEVZA Statutes, which outlines the powers of the MEVZA Executive Committee to determine the competition schedule for its member associations.
In conclusion, the MEVZA Executive Committee has announced the competition schedule for the MEVZA beach volleyball calendar 2023, which includes six events across three countries.
