All three Middle European teams are scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, January 26 in this week’s CEV European Cups. The Slovenian champion Maribor will be looking for its first win in the so called ‘group of death’ of the Champions League pool stage against the Italian powerhouse from Civitanova. The women’s representative, the Hungarian Nyiregyhaza unfortunately already had to forfeit their tomorrow’s match due to Covid-19 restrictions. In the CEV Cup the women of Mladost Zagreb made it all the way to the quarterfinals of the CEV Cup, where they will first go to Lodz, Poland, before the second match in Croatia next Tuesday, February 1st.
