ACH Volley Ljubljana wins the rematch in Romania with a clear 3-0 (21, 17, 15) and advances to the Quarterfinals of the CEV Challenge Cup, where they will meet the current leader of the Portuguese Championship A.J. Fonte Bastardo Azores. TJ Spartak Myjava lost the decisive golden set in Spain, while VCA Amstetten NÖ could not repeat last week’s promising performance and was outed by Lausanne UC.

According to ACH Volley Ljubljana’s Head Coach Mladen Kasic the team might have shown their best performance of the year so far in what was a clear 3-0 and also their 30th win of the season. Ljubljana will be the only Middle European representative in the quarterfinal of the Challenge Cup as Myjava, Amstetten and Waldviertel did not make it past their opponents from Spain, Switzerland and Turkey.
Later on today VK Dukla Liberec will look to surprise the Champions League Pool C leader, the Italian Igor Gorgonzola Novara, while the men of CEZ Karlovarsko will be playing the rematch of the CEV Cup 8th final in Istanbul.
