The MEVZA Leagues are going to resume with four encounters this weekend. In the women’s competition Mladost ZAGREB and OK Marina KASTELA will be clashing in a Croatian derby on Saturday, while the two Slovenian sides Calcit Volley KAMNIK and Nova KBM Branik MARIBOR will be facing each other on Sunday.
“MARIBOR must never be underestimated and is always a candidate for a top spot in the ranking. A difficult job awaits us for which we have to prepare very accurately. In the main round of the MEVZA League you can hardly afford mistakes if you want to qualify for the Final Four tournament. We will definitely not leave anything to chance,” Calcit Volley KAMNIK head coach Gregor Rozman said.
In the men’s competition defending champions ACH Volley LJUBLJANA will start their campaign against their national rivals OK Calcit KAMNIK on Saturday. Austria’s national champions UVC Holding GRAZ will be hosting SK Zadruga AICH/DOB in another exciting derby on Sunday.
