ISRAEL – LUXEMBOURG 3–0 (25-23, 25-19, 25-22)

Israel leaves the last position in the standing of Pool A by winning the direct clash against Luxembourg. It is especially worth mentioning the excellent performance of the Israeli opposite Polina Malik who finished the match with a personal tally of 27 points. 

POOL B
LATVIA – PORTUGAL 0–3 (18-25, 19-25, 21-25)

Second consecutive victory for Portugal, this time against Latvia. In the Gradska Arena “Husejin Smajlovi?” ZENICA the Portuguese team dominated on the block, making 11 in total. They are currently leading the standing of Pool B and waiting for tomorrow’s match vs. Bosnia & Herzegovina.

POOL C
BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA – ESTONIA 2–3 (25-12, 22-25, 21-25, 25-22, 9-15)

The Estonian team stops Edina Begic’s Bosnia & Herzegovina at the tie break. After almost two hours and a few more mistakes than their opponents (52-37), the Bosnians surrendered to the attacks of Kertu Laak (top scorer of the match) and teammates.
