CEV, Luxembourg. Croatian Volleyball star Samanta Fabris has initiated a fundraising action to support people from her home country affected by the 6.4-strong earthquake that hit central Croatia this past December 29, 2020.
The quake resulted in many buildings destroyed in the small town of Petrinja, with the local authorities reporting 7 casualties and another 26 injured people. The residents of other nearby towns and villages such as Sisak, Glina and many more have lost their homes in a matter of seconds in what was the second quake to hit Croatia this year.
Fabris, together with many more Croatian Volleyball players, has taken to social media to invite her followers and all Volleyball fans to support those affected by this tragedy. The goal is to raise at least € 10,000 and to this date, 97 donors have contributed as much as € 6,247.

Fabris, Tsimafei Zhukouski and the other Volleyball stars involved in this action will transfer the raised money directly to families that need it the most in order to help them start anew after suffering such huge losses.
