The Board of Directors of the Croatian Volleyball Federation has decided to cancel the decision taken on March 17, 2020 concerning the suspension and completion of the competition in the 2019/2020 season.
The National Department of Sport has made an appeal to align the decisions about suspending competitions before the intended end with the Law on Amendments to the Law on Sport. The appeal also included an alignment regarding competition regulations and/or format modifications. Considering the impossibility of further competitions in due time and in order to ensure the regularity of the competition, the Croatian Volleyball Federations Board of Directors decided to annulate the previous decision, where the national champions on the women’s and men’s side were announced.
New decisions on the completion of the 2019/2020 National Championship and the competition system for 2020/2021 will be made in accordance with the Law on Amendments to the Sports Act of 18 April 2020 and in accordance with the regulations.
