“There are no weak opponents in this competition, what Mladost Ribola proved today. Congratulations to my team, but we have already to focus on the coming challenges. There are less than 24 hours until the match against Panvita Pomgrad in the Slovenian league”, MARIBOR head coach Skorc reported.

On Saturday, OK Mladost BRCKO welcome defending champions ACH Volley LJUBLJANA and Calcit Volley KAMNIK face bottom of the table Union Raiffeisen WALDVIERTEL. Both Slovenian squads have secured nine points apiece. Calcit Volley have just dropped one set in three matches so far. “From my point of view, KAMNIK is among the major title favourites this season, but I believe that our team possesses the potential to at least challenge such an overpowering opponent”, so WALDVIERTEL sports director Werner Hahn.
Calcit Volley’s wing-spiker Domen Kotnik: “In the previous season, WALDVIERTEL beat us at home, and because of that we played against ACH Volley in the semi-finals. We will do our best not to disappoint our home crowd again and to secure three points on Saturday. We have to enter every game with 100 percent. We learned that in the past season the hard way!”
