Cancun, Mexico. In just 3 days, on Friday, April 16 to be exact, the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour will resume with a 4-star Event in Cancun, Mexico. MEVZA will have 4 women’s and 3 men’s team starting there and chasing both international points and olympic berth. This is the first of 3 tournaments in a row that will happen the next weeks in the Mexican bubble.
Hermannova/Slukova (CZE), Schützenhöfer/Plesiutschnig (AUT) and the winners of the last 4-star event in Doha from last month Perusic/Schweiner (CZE) are directly in the Main Draw.
Kubickova/Kvapilova (CZE), Klinger D./Klinger R. (AUT), Ermacora/Pristauz (AUT) and Seidl Rob./Waller (AUT) will start the first event in the qualification field.
