From July 23 to 24, 2022, the best young beach volleyball players from seven MEVZA countries (Austria, Slovenia, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary and Cyprus) and a team from the guest nation Switzerland met to compete in the U20 age category Identify MEVZA champions. The tournament was played in the Styrian sports town of Hartberg.
The winners were determined from 22 teams. For the girls, the team from the Czech Republic Tomasova / Selicharova prevailed against the local heroes Bruckner / Hohenauer. The Lower Austrians Hammarberg / Friedl decided the purely Austrian final against the team Sponer / Klemen with 2:0 in sentences.
