CEV European Cups bring lots of Middle European Teams to action this week. Again it will be the Men’s Champions League and the Women’s Challenge Cup who will go into the next rounds. The Czech team CEZ Karlovarsko will travel to Portugal to play in Thursday’s Champions League match, while the VKP Bratislava women will have their first serve in this rounds Challenge Cup already tonight in Athens. Wednesday brings six more MEVZA teams: TJ Ostrava, VK Pirane Brusno, Niederosterreich Sokol/Post, AEL Limassol, OK Kaštela and Steelvolleys Linz/Steg onto the court. Kaštela and Limassol also agreed to run their matches back-to-back, meaning that the “away” match will be played already on Thursday.
