Mladost ZAGREB secured the last spot available to compete in the men’s MEVZA League Final Four tournament. Croatia’s reigning national champions cruised to a commanding straight-sets (25-18, 25-21, 25-21) away win over Calcit Volley KAMNIK (SLO) on Saturday night. Calcit Volley’s Boyan Yordanov as well as Mladost’s Bojan Dukic and Tomislav Mitrasinovic shared the best scorer honours with 15 points each.

As a result, Mladost ZAGREB finished second in the regular season, ten points behind the defending champions ACH Volley LJUBLJANA (SLO) and just a point in front of Calcit Volley. Alongside those three teams, hosts Union Raiffeisen WALDVIERTEL (AUT) will contest this season’s climax in Zwettl on March 4 and 5.
On Sunday, fifth-placed Mladost Ribola KASTELA (CRO) celebrated a 3-0 (25-15, 25-20, 25-18) home victory against bottom of the table OK Mladost BRCKO (BIH). The last two matches in the main round will take place next Saturday.
