On Thursday night, ACH Volley LJUBLJANA needed just 64 minutes to pick up another three points for the standing in the men’s MEVZA League. The defending champions and confident tables leaders celebrated an impressive 25-13, 25-16, 25-15 home win over underdogs TJ Spartak MYJAVA.
Already on Wednesday, the ‘Orange Dragons’ had given no chance to VKP BRATISLAVA, winning 25-14, 25-22, 25-17. Therefore, ACH Volley LJUBLJANA extended their winning streak across all competitions they are contesting this season to remarkable 27 matches.

The match-up between OK MERKUR MARIBOR and VKP BRATISLAVA had to be postponed due a COVID-19 outbreak.The men’s competition will already continue on Friday, when OK Calcit KAMNIK will be hosting VKP BRATISLAVA.
In the women’s MEVZA League, Final Four tournament hosts VB NÖ SOKOL/POST had to accept a 23-25, 22-25, 18-25 home loss at the hands of Nova KBM Branik MARIBOR. The Slovenian team increased their points to six (2-3 win-loss record) and moved up to third place in the current standing. The hosts, on the other hand, dropped to 1-5. While Nova KBM Branik MARIBOR will be facing bottom of the table OK Marina KASTELA next Saturday, VB NÖ SOKOL/POST will be challenging OK Calcit KAMNIK. Slovenia’s reigning national champions are unbeaten this MEVZA League season so far.
