Sepka/Semerad with a 4th place finish at the U21 Beach Volleyball World Championships in Thailand. Adding to their great success are the countrymen Trousil/Dzavoronok who finished in a strong 5th place.
Both teams showed some high level volleyball getting them all the way to the top-5 finishes. Sepka/Semerad had anything but a light draw, considering the fact that the latter event’s gold and bronze medalist were already in the group. And it also ended up being the only two teams that managed to win against the Czech duo.
In the semifinal it was the Swedes who won in two tight sets with 23-21 and 21-17. The Bronze medal match was even closer with the sets going to 28-26 and 21-19.
