Huber/Dressler to play for Bronze Medal at the 4-star in Itapema

Austria’s Alexander “Xandi” Huber and Christoph Dressler are playing in the Bronze Medal Match of the Itapema 4-star FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour today at 13:15 today. After four wins in a row against teams from Germany, Belarus and Denmark, it was Brazil who stopped the run of the team from Klagenfurt. In the bronze medal match they will meet the Italians Lupo/Ranghieri. Final matches are also broadcasted live on FIVB’s YouTube site.

Xandi and Christoph’s success is complemented with the great results of other Middle European teams. Their training colleagues from Klagenfurt Felix and Maxi (Friedl/Trummer) finished 17th. Two Czech teams, Bercik/Dumek and Hermannova/Stochlova also made it our of their respective pools and into the elimination phase at the 4-star in Brazil.
