SK Zadruga AICH/DOB (AUT) secured their third MEVZA League win in a row. On Friday night, the former champions needed 76 minutes to claim a 3-0 (25-23, 25-22, 25-18) victory at bottom of the table SK UVC Holding GRAZ (AUT). Therefore, SK Zadruga AICH/DOB took their chance to cement the third place in the current standing four points behind leaders OK Merkur MARIBOR (SLO) and three behind title holders ACH Volley Ljubljana (SLO).

Competitions rookies UVC Holding Graz, on the other hand, have not been able to collect a single point from the six matches they have contested so far. After the quarantine due some coronavirus cases, the hosts were very much looking forward to play at the Raiffeisen Sportpark Graz again, but finally the had to accept another loss at the hands of very experienced MEVZA League competitors.
Tiago Pereira and Lukas Scheucher top scored for UVC Holding GRAZ with 11 and 13 points, respectively. For the away team Max Landfahrer managed to put 15 to his name, while Konrad Formela scored 11 times.
