Source: CEV. After the European Legal Commission and subsequently the Legal Chamber completed their work by checking all relevant papers and the applicants’ eligibility, the CEV Board of Administration unanimously approved their reports, this resulting in the publication of the detailed list of candidates standing to fill one of the positions available in the CEV’s institutional bodies. The election for the 2020-2024 term will be taking place in conjunction with the XLI CEV General Assembly, pushed back to October 16, 2020 in response to the global coronavirus pandemic.
This year’s CEV General Assembly was initially due to take place on June 19 but the restrictions resulting from the global epidemic have prompted its postponement to the fall of 2020, with the city of Moscow confirmed as the venue of this all-important gathering of the European Volleyball family.
