The young Croatian U20 national team kicked off their MEVZA tournament campaign with a resounding 3-0 victory over Israel. Dominating the scoreboard with 25-13, 25-15, and 25-15 in the sets, the girls completed their first match with confidence and are now gearing up for their next challenge.
“The opening win was crucial, and we achieved it. This victory sets the tone for our confidence moving forward. There’s room for improvement in our gameplay, and I’m confident we will evolve as the tournament progresses. The team’s energy and commitment were impressive, and we aim to maintain this momentum in the upcoming matches,” commented Ivica Radoaj, the coach of Croatia’s women’s national team.
The next match for the Croatian girls is tomorrow against Slovakia, who faced a 3-1 defeat against Hungary today.
