MARIBOR – Croatian male volleyball team MOK Mursa Osijek and VCA Amstetten NO from Austria met on the second day of MEVZA tournament played in Maribor.
Mursa was able to grab 3-1 (22-25, 25-23, 25-23, 25-18) victory over Amstetten. Austrian team took the first set and were close to taking 2-0 set lead, but Mursa managed to come back and tie the score. Third set was also very thrilling, but like in the second, Croatian team won it. In fourth set Mursa played much better and won that set which secured them final victory.
“It was a good game with a lot of mistakes on both sides. We started the game in a similar spasm like against Maribor. Later on, we played more as a team, won two sets on the break and calmly took the match to the end in the fourth”, said head coach of Mursa, Mario Teppert.
